Funding from the National Lottery Community Fund helps kick-start classes

Proving that #CommunitiesCan The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport are helping Flamingo Chicks get our regular classes back up and running.  Thanks to government funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund distributed by The National Lottery, we are able to #keepdancing, working with our schools and community settings to ensure we can dance safely.

Flamingo Chicks’ Head of Dance, Sam, who has been working with teachers and schools across England to get back up and running agrees: ‘we are so grateful for support from the National Lottery Community Fund in supporting us with our re-opening of classes. It’s been a logistical challenge so this support makes all the difference. A huge thank you to our teaching team for their patience and support also. We are so excited for our ‘Recovery & Resilience’ term and to see everyone dancing with us again!’
