OLIVIA RILEY

Liv trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating in 2015 with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance.

Having completed her degree, Liv moved home to North Devon to pass on her passion and knowledge by working as a freelance dance teacher. Delivering classes in independent dance schools, community settings, and in higher educational facilities, Liv’s focus is always to develop her students’ technical skills, creativity, and confidence, in a nurturing, fun and welcoming environment.

Liv is a support artist for Dance in Devon, working on intergenerational projects and in SEND schools. She has also attended courses with People Dancing to facilitate dance and movement classes for older people, individuals with Dementia, and stroke patients. Having worked with a wide range of dancers across a range of ages, abilities and backgrounds, Liv has witnessed first-hand the positive effects that dance has on individuals not only physically, but mentally and socially, too.

Having relocated to Bristol in 2020, Liv is extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with Flamingo Chicks and to meet lots of new dancers.
