Briony was named in The Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 List in both 2021 and 2022, recognising her as one of the UK’s most influential disabled people. She has consistently used her platform to champion diversity and inclusion and has been part of the Flamingo Chicks community long before becoming a Patron. In 2024 Briony designed a tutu for our ‘Two to Tutu’ Campaign and back in 2020 even hosted a bake along session for us in Lockdown! More recently at the end of 2025, Briony contributed to our ‘TV Tips’ campaign and brings a powerful and inspiring voice to our community- championing representation, inclusion and diversity.
Briony also supports several other charities as an ambassador for Reach, Bristol Mind and Paul’s Place, underlining her dedication to improving lives and promoting inclusion. We are incredibly proud that Briony has chosen to become a Patron of Flamingo Chicks. Through her lived experience, visibility and advocacy, she is such an important member of the flock!
