This term we’re exploring the ballet Coppélia looking at the story from Dr Coppélius’ perspective, the Inventor! Coppélia is a fun and hilarious love story of Franz and Swanilda, who explore the mysterious world of inventor Dr Coppélius.
Alongside this we’ll be looking at the broader theme of Inventing, inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, to develop creativity and problem-solving skills, building confidence and igniting curiosity to become caring citizens of our world!
This theme continues our collaboration with Lightyear Foundation, focusing on active learning; combining STEMM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths & Medicine) and dance to break down barriers to science and arts for disabled people.
