Our global outreach
Flamingo Chicks’ global outreach programme seeks to share tips and upskill organisations working with disabled children around the world. Our outreach teams visit projects around the world to showcase or award-winning adaptive approach, train staff and source kit locally and, on their return, we continue to coach from afar – enabling our global projects to prosper.
From New York to Ghana and Singapore, our outreach teams have delivered Flamingo Chicks’ workshops to hundreds of children worldwide, breaking down barriers to inclusion across borders.

Flamingo Chicks on tour!
Our amazing volunteers Allys and Nelly deliver Flamingo Chicks’ classes in Kenya! Based at the HARC centre in Nakuru (a holiday club for vulnerable and disabled children) they have been working hard to bring parents together. It’s been working well and they are finding emotional support from one another, which is wonderful to see!
Allys says “We have done lots of home visits to families with disabled children to support them, as the stigma is still so high over here. The work Flamingo Chicks does is so important and has a special impact.”
Our outreach and support
Prancing Giraffes, Singapore
“Thanks to Flamingo Chicks’ outreach support, our dance class managed to stabilise with a fixed venue and numbers started to grow. In fact, we saw a waiting list of children wanting to join! A highlight was our interactive, inclusive performance at the National Gallery of Singapore just before our country started lock down. It was such a happy moment and Flamingo Chicks had a big part to play. If it wasn’t for your ideas, encouragement and sharing, this class may not have started at all. Truly. Thank you Flamingo Chicks!” Esther Eio – Prancing Giraffes, Singapore.
