Dance Helper
Fundraising Champion
There are many fundraising opportunities at Flamingo Chicks and we welcome support in all areas of fundraising – come and join the team! It’s an enjoyable, collaborative experience: whether you want to support on a particular campaign – including our flagship May 100 challenge, support at one of our events, or take part in a sponsored sporting event, – there are so many ways to get involved!
Operations Support
You’ll even note there are some Northern events if you’re interested in supporting Flamingo Chicks!? We’d love your help if you’re interested in doing some fundraising whilst also being fit, or perhaps you know others who might like to get involved? It’s also worth mentioning that every May we have our annual fundraiser – it’s a way for people to do something active whilst also raising money for Flamingo Chicks. Would you be interested in hearing more about this?
In the words of our volunteers:
“Volunteering as a dance helper gives me a chance to feel part of a team again. All the volunteers and teachers are so friendly and I feel valued for the small contribution I make. It gives the children so much joy when they’re enabled to express themselves through dance – I feel proud to be part of the Flamingo Chicks team.” – Julie, Dance Helper
“I feel a sense of purpose and belonging volunteering at Flamingo Chicks. The sessions are so joyful that I smile throughout and leave with a spring in my step. I enjoy making a contribution to the wider community and feel valued as part of an organisation that is forward thinking in its approach to diversity and inclusion.” Terry, Volunteer
If you have any further questions about our volunteering, please feel free to get in touch with our volunteer coordinator, Bethan.
