Dance Teacher

Allie is a Bristol-based dance artist, she started off her Flamingo Chicks journey by volunteering with us before leaving to attend Plymouth Conservatoire to study Dance Theatre. She Graduated in 2019. Throughout her degree, she undertook training in Ballet, Yoga, a range of Contemporary techniques, as well as a term of training in African dance. As well as that, she also undertook many workshops with professional artists and companies, such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Heather Walrond Company, Adam Benjamin, Vincent Dance Theatre, and Dane Hurst. Before going to university, she also undertook training for many years in Modern, Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary. Her main focus is on community dance and she has previously worked with adults with Dementia as well as adults and children with a range of additional needs.
