Andrew’s interest in performing arts started in his early teens with the involvement of amateur dramatic societies and school performances. He thrived on the freedom of expressing himself through the medium of performance which lead him to take a more serious view on dance as an art from before leaving.

Andrew completed his A levels under the direction of Sue Lewis, Artistic Direct of FFIN Dance, before moving to Scotland to complete a degree in contemporary dance performance at The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance. Whilst studying at SSCD Andrew had the privilege to work with Janis Claxton, Tommy Small, Errol White to name a just a few. His training culminated with a national tour with Space Cadets, The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance’s student dance company.

Andrew has also performed work with FFIN Dance,  National Dance Company Wales as well as a tour with company Plunge.

Andrew is company director for Magnetar Events which he has set up in hopes to make a difference. He believes in providing a supportive, friendly and encouraging environment for performers of all ages and abilities to thrive. It is his aim to defy the limitations and preconceptions that society has set, encouraging young people to express and perform showing that everyone who is given the right encouragement and support can reach their true potential.

Andrew also teaches for performing arts schools around South Wales which include Universal Academy of the Arts and TDM to name a few. He is very proud to be a member of the Flamingo Chicks flock too!
