Jade Hyland (she/her) is a freelance dance educator and inclusive practitioner from Meath, Ireland, who grew up training for Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Graded and Vocational exams. Jade completed her Undergraduate degree at the RAD Headquarters in London, where she achieved a First-Class Honours BA (Hons) in Ballet Education and a Distinction in the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance (LRAD). Jade also holds a CertHE in Global Media, Political and Social Science, and Philosophy from the University of Galway.

Recognised for her academic achievements and commitment to ballet education, Jade was awarded the Iris Truscott LRAD Scholarship. Her professional portfolio reflects her identity as an educator, committed to her ethos of accessibility and inclusion, advocating for high-quality dance education at both grassroots and policy levels. Jade brings experience teaching in a range of contexts, including primary, secondary, private, and community, and values her responsibility to nurture and provide the tools and training necessary to fulfil students’ goals, foster joy of dance, and enhance individual strengths.

Jade is thrilled to continue learning with the Royal Academy of Dance RADiate project and teach in several London-based ballet schools. Captivated by the opportunity for future growth, Jade commenced an MA in Education, Policy, and Society at King’s College University in September 2025 and continues to campaign for the inclusion of dance education in the public sector in both Ireland and the UK.
