JASMINE MASSEY

Dance Teacher

In 2024, Jasmine graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a BA(Hons) in Contemporary Dance. She has since achieved a Master’s in Human Rights and International Relations and is passionate about the arts and social change. She places a specific emphasis on inclusivity, accessibility, and wellbeing as a community dance practitioner and finds joy in sharing the benefits of dance with others.

Jasmine has a range of community dance experience including voluntary work with The Natashas Project, where she assisted in trauma-informed restorative dance workshops for women who have survived modern slavery. More recently, she worked as a Support Artist co-teaching accessible dance to people affected by Parkinson’s disease. She also has experience working with refugees and asylum seekers through dance and has undertaken various training supportive of her professional development, including the Introductory Training to ‘Dance in Cancer Care’ with Move Dance Feel. Jasmine is excited to be a part of the Flamingo Chicks team and to continue sharing the joy of inclusive dance!
